Great gadget for getting good!
Picked one up after seeing it demo'd at Gathering of the Blades 2026. Check out Goblin Ruffian on social media to see a demo if you aren't sure how it's used. Very solid steel - sturdy enough to take hits, but not so tough as to damage your sword (unless you're really wailing on it, but uh...don't do that!) As a newbie, it's a great little tool for practicing point control - I leave it hanging on an old microphone stand next to my "sword corner" so I'm always tempted to spend a few minutes to practice "aim small, miss small"!

Useful for training!
It's great, but I think mine is broken! The buttons don't light up and there's no sound when I hit it! Just kidding! This is such a useful tool for training, especially if you want to increase your point control with the added twist of parrying! I enjoy using this and it's just dangling there, tantalizing me to hit it.
