GREAT BEGINNER PANTS!
These are the essential gear to most HEMA outfit. They do fit around to just below the knee, and they are really well padded amd defensive! I love how many arming points they have just above the knee, so all your knee guard fits SUPER WELL! now please remember, these are historical pants, so you have to wear them at the true waist Some of my student who has trouble with finding their true waist do find them too long or bulky. so when you wear them at the right place, they are great!! I had to stop wearing mine after 2 years of training due to my own personal skin issue of ezcema. the fabric is rather close to your thigh. so if you are like me with some skin irritation, just wear long johns or long thigh socks, these are mega comfy. I washed these MANY times in the laundry machine and they just don't dye nor rip. crazy stuff
